Wikipedia not an encyclopedia

When finding articles on Wikipedia, be aware that a large percentage of the article may be accurate but that the facts and fiction is sometimes heavily intertwined making it hard to re-use, believe or quote anything found on Wikipedia as ‘fact’.

Recently, Philip Roth found out just how challenging dealing with some of the authoritarian Wikipedia ‘editors’ as well as staff could be: open letter appeared in the New Yorker and as this author discovered, even if facts are in fact of your own creation, Wikipedia still knows best.
