Rest in peace Knol, you will be buried on 30 April 2012
Knol started up during 2007 as a place where more in depth professional content could be created in collaboration and authors could also earn revenue from advertising placed on their own content. There were millions of knol’s created but for some reason the project never reached boiling point and support for it has been declining steadily the last few years.
Knol, you will be fondly remembered as a great idea that never took off. Herding people is sometimes more difficult than herding cats and Knol proves that even great ideas have to have good timing.
