I have released the Cubit Accounting, Payroll and Business ERP system as Opensource software and am busy rebranding to Accounting-123.com for the International project. For the hundreds of Cubit clients it means no more license fees, no more monthly and annual payments and they can just pay for the support or services they need (and buy this from anyone that offers such services)
The system is web based (So you can install it on a server and access it from anywhere, but ask your techie to setup a VPN for you and firewall off the Cubit ports)
I am also in the process of releasing three more codesets as opensource for a total of around two and a half million lines of sourcecode…
