There is a lot of hype and excitement around the announcement on Facebook dev that App developers will be able to charge subscription fee’s. Facebook is also adding the ability for users to pay in their own currency and users will still be able to make one time payments.
The new feature will see a revenue share between Facebook and developers as Facebook takes almost a third of the revenue. The functionality should be available in July and will lead to an expansion of App offerings on Facebook.
