PATENT WARS:
High Court Judge Colin Birrs (UK) ordered Apple to admit in public that Samsung did not copy the Apple iPad in the Samsung designs as it had alleged in a court application.
Samsung lawyers says that Apple’s claims caused very real financial damage and also said that ‘should Apple continue to make excessive legal claims based on such generic designs, innovation in the industry could be harmed and consumer choice unduly limited’
Apple has indicated that it is going to appeal the order by Judge Colin Birrs.
