Google is to start warning people if the DNS Changer trojan is detected on Internet browsers. Global estimates are that around half a million Internet browsers remain infected with the trojan even after threats to isolate these systems.
Google says: Our goal with this notification is to raise awareness of DNSChanger among affected users. We believe directly messaging affected users on a trusted site and in their preferred language will produce the best possible results
