South Africa CAN COLLAPSE as a country, please read below and please THINK for yourself.

If you do not take immediate action South Africa could BURN.
If South African poor people cannot get access to their pensions and social welfare : South Africa will burn.
If South Africa cannot collect taxes and has no banking systems and no working Internet – South Africa will burn.
You can use your own brain to figure out how interconnected South Africa is with America and American technology.
There are two important things you should take immediate notice of:
America has effected 31% tariff on all South African goods entering America. a Trade war attack on South African exports.
Importantly : The tariff was calculated by taking the GOODS trade deficit and NOT including (excluding) SERVICES amounts, including entertainment, consulting, services and SOFTWARE licensing services.
So, it is a patently UNFAIR, UNJUST and it is simply incorrect and wrong to state that South Africa is taking advantage and CHEATING America. We are in fact NOT CHEATING AMERICA!
a Further very important thing South Africa should TAKE SERIOUS NOTE OF IS: INSTABILITY & RISK – Not just national security risk BUT Business Risk(s)
A law was introduced last week by an American Senator which proposes SANCTIONS on South Africa,
hopefully this introduced bill will not pass?
BUT what happens IF it ever does?
For IT – IMPORTANTLY :
South African Revenue Service (SARS) is tightly integrated into America. ALL of the South African Government is fully integrated into America.
South Africa is tightly integrated into Microsoft and Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office and into Amazon Cloud Services. South African business is integrated into SAP/Oracle/Google and South Africa will collapse as a country.
IT Directors, decision makers and board members of SITA has always received cushy benefits from some American companies. Some American companies buy our IT departments not by being superior, but by being superior at paying for conferences and by throwing money at our decision makers.
IF America was to impose total sanctions on South Africa : South Africa WILL COLLAPSE as a country.
No taxes, no payroll, no communications, no business no NOTHING.
As a matter of most EXTREME URGENCY:
South Africa needs to immediately start planning for failover by starting a process to exit all American Technology. Either implement local South African solutions or solutions without updates and other risks of breaking systems.
South African cannot rely on the whims of an unstable external country for it’s actual existence.
Imagine: South Africa places full control of our country into the hands of the United Kingdom? or Germany? or France? or Russia? or China? or Korea? or any other country, maybe Zimbabwe? Why does America control ALL OF OUR SYSTEMS AND SOFTWARE?
???WHY IS OUR VERY CONTINUED EXISTENCE IN THE HANDS OF ONE MAN IN AMERICA???
South Africa is not taking American software and American integration into our economy for free, we actually pay BILLIONS of rands for these things!
There are OPEN SOURCE solutions to all the IT and ICT systems South Africa are currently using.
There are British and EU and Chinese solutions avaialble to license and purchase
It is PAST TIME that South Africa starts complying with OPEN DOCUMENT standartds and other standards and for specifically SARS to stop being vendor locked into America and PDF proprietary and closed document standards.
The existential threat America poses to the actual existence of South Africa is DIRE and it is an EMERGENCY!
Domains and hosting uses CPANEL, if there is sanctions, access to American Software and American controlled and owned services will be blocked.
Some of our network technology is operated by American technology and American companies. Our situation is dire and we are completely exposed.
South Africa was not prepared for a trade war and possible/potential full sanctions by America.
South Africa needs to immediately prepare disaster failover and immediately start eliminating the potential of any single one country having the absolute power to destroy and burn South Africa.
