If you have noticed a marked decline in SPAM this week it is probably because one of the largest BOTNETs in the world (consisting of around 124 300 odd systems, give or take a few) have been taken down.
The Botnet, known as Grum, is still not completely without zombies as there are still just under 30 000 systems left.
At it’s hight, Grum was responsible for almost 20 percent of all network traffic in the world.
