Facebook shares finally seem to be stabilising as the trade band narrowed around the us$32 mark.
The company is however facing additional court cases and Facebook is now involved in many different legal disputes and several new shareholders who bought stock during the IPO have filed lawsuits against Facebook. The rumour mill speculates that Facebook may re-list on the NYSE as well as the possibility of a US Senate hearing.
Facebook is still faced with the challenge of adequate monetisation of mobile traffic as this is the single factor that will determine it’s success or failure. As other tech companies face up to the same challenge, including Google, the possibility of mobile users having to pay for content is again back on the table as there seems to be no sustainable method to fund mobile content distribution.
